Like the university itself, research at UC Riverside is on the rise. Funding for our path-breaking research initiatives is up more than 39 percent over the past 5 years. Here at the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering, our annual research expenditure is $30 million, with each faculty member bringing in $313,000 each year.

The University of California at Riverside is one of 10 campuses of the University of California system, widely recognized as the preeminent public university system in the world.
